Infection chance (%)

Everyone wanders randomly. Infected people (yellow and red) have a 20% infection chance per encounter. People with symptoms (red) move at 30% speed. Recovered people (gray) keep moving but cannot infect others.

Wandering speed

Only infected people without symptoms (yellow) drive between nearby settlements or fly between city hubs. Alaska and Hawaii connect to the Lower 48 by plane only; cars stay on the same landmass. Incubation sets the yellow period; active period sets the red period with symptoms.
